The updated model was priced for New Zealand ahead of an August 2026 arrival, in two versions. The RWD, from $59,990 plus on-road costs, has a single 250kW rear motor, reaches 100km/h in 5.6 seconds and has 405km of WLTP range. The AWD, from $69,990, adds a 115kW front motor for 365kW and 573Nm, reaching 100km/h in 3.7 seconds with 415km of range. Both versions gained 50kW over the previous model.

The RWD uses a 61kWh LFP cell-to-pack battery, the same ‘Golden Battery’ technology as the Zeekr 7X, charging at up to 230kW DC for a 10–80 per cent top-up in about 18 minutes, and 11kW on AC. The AWD uses a 66kWh NMC battery, charging at up to 150kW DC (about 30 minutes for 10–80 per cent) and 22kW on AC. Vehicle-to-Load is listed for both.

Standard equipment includes heated front and rear seats, inductive steering wheel controls, a 13-speaker YAMAHA sound system, a 14.6-inch touchscreen running on a Snapdragon 8155 platform, and the ZEEKR AD driver assistance suite with 5 cameras, 5 millimetre-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors and Remote Parking Assist. The AWD adds front-row massage seats, a temperature-controlled fridge and 20-inch forged wheels, and offers electric front doors as a $2,000 option.

The Zeekr X has a five-year, unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 160,000km high-voltage motor and battery warranty. ANCAP awarded it five stars against its 2024 criteria, applying to all variants built from July 2024.
