Saxton Autos
Hybrid & EV Servicing in Petone, Lower Hutt
About Saxton Autos
Saxton Autos is an independent car service and repair workshop at 16 Sydney St in Petone, serving Lower Hutt and Wellington. Its A-grade technicians have looked after petrol, diesel, hybrid and EV vehicles in Petone since 2005, and the workshop services all makes and models without voiding manufacturer warranties.
Through its Saxton Hybrid and EV Service Centre, the workshop offers specialised EV services: battery health diagnostics to assess performance and charging efficiency, EV servicing of suspension, steering and brake systems, supply and fitting of EV-suitable tyres, and Warrant of Fitness inspections.
Saxton Autos also offers independent AVILOO battery health testing for PHEVs and EVs at $200 incl. GST. The test uses real-world battery data and benchmarking to help detect rapid cell degradation, cell-voltage imbalances, sensor faults and battery-related software faults, and is followed by a full diagnostic report on the battery's state of health.
